Protecting your data is extremely important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the relevant statutory regulations. The following data protection information outlines the most important aspects of data processing when using our website.
Contact us
If you contact us using the form on our website, the data you submit will be stored for 6 months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and further correspondence. Your data is never transferred without your consent. In the case your enquiry turns into a purchasement: see chapter „Data Collection and Processing“.
Data Collection and Processing
In order to simplify the (potential) purchasement and the (potential) conclusion of a contract the operator of our web shop stores personal data such as name, address, phone number and the products which have been ordered.
We use the personal data provided by you to fulfil contractual and pre-contractual obligations. Without these data it is not possible to conclude the contract with you. We will only transfer or pass on personal data to third parties if necessary for processing or billing purposes.
The stored personal data will be deleted in the case of the cancellation of the purchasement activity. If a contract has been concluded, all relevant data will be stored for seven years in order to fulfil our obligation vis-a-vis the tax authorities.
Additionally, the data name, address, goods purchased and the date, on which the goods have been purchased, will be stored for 10 years (product liability). The collected data are processed in accordance to paragraph 96 / 3 TKG and paragraph 6 / 1 lt. a) (consent) and/or lt. b) (necessary for the fulfilment of the contract) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Cookies
In some cases, our website uses so called „Cookies“. We use Cookies in order to make our website more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Our Cookies are so-called „Session-Cookies“. They enable to store the items of your cart and will be deleted as soon as you have closed your browser. If you do not want this to take place, you can change your browser settings so you are notified of the use of Cookies and you can accept or decline their use on an individual basis. For more details, please refer to the help-functions of your browser. When Cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Web-analysis
When you visit our website, an entry is done by default in the logfile of our web server. This is necessary to maintain operational readiness. These logfiles are analysed by a special tool in order to monitor the power of the website. Analyses are made anonymous on a basis of pseudonymized IP-addresses so that it is not possible to trace them back to the users of our website.
Newsletter
Users can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. We require your name, email address and a confirmation that you agree to being subscribed to the newsletter. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntarily submitted information to your postal address. Once you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you an email with a link to confirm your registration.
You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Send an email to veronika.pfeiffer@herka-frottier.at; we will immediately delete your data held in connection with sending the newsletter.
Your Rights
In principle, you have the right to information, rectification, deletion, limitation, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you think that data processing infringes data protection law or that your claims concerning data protection, you can complain at the national supervisory authority for data protection in the Republic of Austria which is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
